Product Description
Now with a direct fit rear flange, eliminates the billet aluminum adapter plate!!!!!
The 3.5" aluminum single piece driveshaft is a direct bolt-on system. Most driveshafts available for the GTO platform require the rear flange to removed from the diff, the problem with this is that the differential is a crush collar type, and the preload on the nut sets the pinion depth to make sure the rear gears have the proper engagement. What we have done is made a 7075-T6 aluminum conversion flange that will bolt directly to the 3 finger flange on the rear But now has Helicoils in the threaded section of the billet plate(same style we make for the 1000HP Supra shafts). This eliminates the need to have a professional set the pinion lash on the differential. Just unbolt the factory 2 piece shaft, install the 1-piece shaft with the included hardware and go. The only necessary modification is the tip of the rear seatbelt bolt that protrudes into the driveshaft tunnel must be ground down to provide adequate clearance for the driveshaft. Changing the shaft in this car is perhaps one of the most noticeable performance enhancements you can do as the car will have better throttle response and feel smoother overall. Not only is it lighter but the hanger bearing on the factory driveshaft moves up and down violently when the car is being driven hard. This action is not only dangerous but robs the drive train of power. Capable of 997lb of torque based on shock factor of 3.5 .

Serious Upgrade

My center support bearing was shot on my 05 and after tossing around the idea of replacing just the bearing (which would cost waaaay too much and be risky) I decided to go with the single piece. If you're getting any kind of "shudder" from your drivetrain, I suggest you check out that center support bearing. If and when it goes out, get this product! Installation is simple and the power definitely gets to the wheels way smoother.

Was having really bad vibrations from the stock driveshaft, turned out all the rubber around the support bearing was gone so I turned to kollar racing for a replacement and a single piece was the way to go. Was direct fit and didn't have to trim anything. Definitely can feel the difference especially when it comes to the throttle response. You guys have definitely found another returning customer

Installed in a fraction of the time it took to get the old 2 piece out. drives much better old carrier was beat plum out, placed the order around 4:00pm on a Tuesday received on Thursday!!!

If you are having trouble with your factory drive shaft and want to get back on the road this is a great option. There is some draw back to a solid driveshaft but still well worth the sacrifice. Hit your tail shaft seal is leaking you need to Chang the bushing and seal during install, but could not be happier with the purchase and delivery times from kollar racing. Highly reccomend

What an excellent product , more throttle response less maintenance, my 05 gto is built for top end 3" exhaust no acceleration on lowend but with the driveshaft I am able to burn them up at a stop straight throttle. Thank you Andy from KollAr racing one again for an amazing product, will definitely be back again
